Bike Hike Recce 1 hello titans! it's less than a day since bike hike recce 1 ended, how are you guys doing (other than the butt aches, muscle aches and a messed up body clock)? x) and yes, despite the 'eventful' experience, let's stay in this together and work towards the goal of being qualified assistant instructors alright! we're one batch, one 36th, working towards one goal (: quoted from zhihao's blog: TITANS WE MUST JIAYOU KAE. cannot let the seniors down. Mental strength confidence experience is the key. Believe in urselves and everything will be alright. Jiayou jiayou! we can do it coz we are titans yo :D haha, yep. please tell me that all of you helping out for bike hike can meet the minimum requirement of at least 2 recces!! pleaseplease! rebecca really hopes that everyone can make it. jyjy, we can do this right! cos we are titans yo xD edit/ btw titans, i think that i should let you guys know this: Alex asked me to call him after bike hike (i think he couldn't reach derrick cos his handwriting was too 'artistic' to differentiate the numbers or something) and he told me to convey a msg to you guys (summarized in that 4 pg long sms). on top of that, he also showed concern about our little 'batch chat' we had after his debrief and asked if there is anything he should be aware about. at that moment, i suddenly thought of Mr Alex's (Tan) little exercise with us: the helium pole. don't know if you guys rmb. to reach a common goal, we have to be close, to communicate, to be aware of each other's condition etc so that we can work together effectively. so i mentioned a few issues we raised during the batch-chat to Alex briefly (being unconfident, afraid to let parents know about details of bike hike, why we might be taking this a little too lightly etc.) i hope you guys don't mind my rather rash decision to let him know about the concerns some of you had there and then, without letting you guys know beforehand. sorry if i may have offended any of you, i didn't pin-point anyone during that conversation with him and i've done this hoping that we can come to a compromise or find ways to solve the problems together with Alex. yep. that's all from me. please let me know if you have any strong opinions towards this! -rebecca |
